Guest WiFi email capture

Collect emails at the WiFi login. Keep only the real ones.

Your guests already hand over an email to get online. CaptureWiFi records their consent, asks them to confirm the address, and shows you which contacts are verified before you send anything.

How it works

Three screens, one clean contact

  1. Step 1

    The form

A first name and an email. A terms box the guest has to tick, and a marketing box they don’t. It starts empty.

  2. Step 2

    The confirmation

Guests who said yes to marketing get a six-digit code and a link by email. Either one confirms them.

  3. Step 3

    The welcome

They’re online. If you’ve set one up, a welcome email with an offer goes out the moment they confirm.

Why verify

A smaller list that opens beats a big one that bounces.

People type nonsense into WiFi forms. Not out of malice. They want the internet and the form is in the way, so [email protected] goes in and the phone connects.

Every one of those addresses costs you later. Bounces drag down your sender reputation, and real emails start landing in spam. Asking for confirmation at the moment of consent catches most of it at the source.

Confirmation is never a gate to the internet. Nobody is stuck at the door, and guests who don’t care about offers still get online.

Consent recorded

The marketing box is separate from the terms, never pre-ticked, and the time of opt-in is stored with the record.

Address confirmed

A six-digit code or a link, valid for 24 hours. Confirmed contacts are marked, so you can tell a real inbox from a typo.

Visits attached

Each customer record shows their visits, so you know who’s a regular and who came once in March.

Ready to send

Campaigns go to guests who opted in, from templates you can edit.

WiFi data capture, answered

Something else? Ask us.

How do you stop fake email addresses?
Guests who opt in to marketing are sent a six-digit code and a confirmation link. Confirmed addresses are marked as verified in your customer list, so you can tell real inboxes from typos before you send.
Does the guest have to verify before getting online?
No. Getting online and joining your list are separate. A guest who skips verification still gets WiFi; they just don’t join your marketing list.
What data do you collect?
Whatever your form asks for, typically a first name and an email. Each visit also records the access point, the time and the device type. You choose the fields.
Where does the list live?
In your dashboard. On Plus and Pro you see each customer, their visits and their opt-in status, and you can send campaigns to them from the same place.
Is it GDPR compliant?
The tooling is built for it: an optional, unticked consent box, verification of the address, and a recorded consent time. Your privacy notice and how you use the data are still your responsibility as the controller.
